His Majesty King Hussein I, 1935-1999
The whole world has learned of the passing of His Majesty King Hussein I. The whole world mourns the loss of a man who found a great place in history by gently working a sensitive road between opposing influences and battling forces. The whole world pays tribute to a man who always tried to do the right thing by his conscience.
BikeAbout would like to share with you our deep feelings at the news of his death. From all of us, our thoughts are with our friends in Jordan, their countrymen, and everyone in the region. It is our greatest hope that this will be a period of reflection and further healing. It is our continued hope that this will be a period of smooth transition and that the new king will find as strong a place in your home as his father and great-grandfather did.
